‘YOUNG CREATORS’

WITH SYCAMORE TRUST UK & LONDON YOUTH


In the summer of 2022 I ran an eight week project as part of London Youth’s ‘Young Creators’ programme, which aims to provide young people acess to art and creativity via theur youth groups.

After runnng two taster sessions, I was selected by Sycamore Trust UK to deliver the eight week project for their members.

Throughout the project we explored a range of hands-on artistic techniques, from drawing activites and printmaking, to short animations using both puppets and frame by frame.

The project culminated in a showcase event in central London where the collaborative animation was screened, alongside two scrapbooks detailing the work and jounrey of the group.
